    • Mandell Center for Multiple Sclerosis, Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, Hartford, CT
    • Perform research activities related to gait analysis and biomechanical data collection, as a volunteer in the research team.
  • Graduate Researcher, 2005 – 2009
    • Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of California at Davis, Davis, California
    • Performed research in biomedical engineering for the Advanced Highway Maintenance and Construction Technology group.
  •  Research and Testing Co-op, 2004
    • DePuy Spine, Raynham, Massachusetts
    • Designed and developed testing procedures for evaluation of spinal implants, performed material testing studies, assisted in the research and development of new products, including the Charité® Artificial Disc.
  • Biomechanics Research Internship, 2002
    • Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio
    • Performed research in the biomechanics lab of the Biomedical Engineering Department; evaluated energy consumption in gait with and without real-time visual feedback; also assisted in data collection and analysis on numerous other projects.  Part of Research Experience for Undergraduate program, funded by the National Science Foundation.
