Before joining the University, Md Kamruzzaman Sarker was a postdoctoral fellow at Kansas State University. He loves to invent new stuff (research) and at the same time build stuff (software engineering). Sarker's research has been published in top artificial intelligence conferences and journals. His research so far contributed to bringing more than $1.2 million in funding from DARPA and AFRL. His research domain spans the broad field of artificial intelligence and its application. Some specific topics he is focusing on now include but are not limited to: Explainable Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Knowledge Graph, Semantic Web.
