Larissa Schroeder joined the College of Arts and Sciences in 2010. Her current research uses research methodologies from the fields of education and neuroscience to examine the effect of learning an expert-like strategy for selecting an appropriate integration technique on behavioral performance and neural activation patterns. She is a member of the following organizations: National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), Mathematical Association of America (MAA), American Education Research Association (AERA).

About Me

I have a number of hobbies and interests outside of mathematics and mathematics education.

I like to travel, garden and hike. I LOVE to swim! I particularly enjoy woodworking and making tables from reclaimed lumber or live-edge wood. I even have a flock of backyard chickens!
