Danielle M. Bellows, PT, MHS, DHSc is a board-certified clinical specialist in pediatric physical therapy and a knowledge translation specialist. She received her physical therapy degree from Ithaca College (1986) and her Masters in Health Science (2002) and Doctor of Health Science (2017) from the University of Indianapolis. She received her Knowledge Translation Professional certificate from the University of Toronto in 2015.
Danni is an Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy program where she teaches courses in lifespan rehabilitation for people with neurologic dysfunction. Locally, Danni serves on the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors and their Pediatric Special Interest Group. Nationally, she serves as a member of the Specialization Academy of Content Experts for the Pediatric Specialty Council of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her research interests include the intersection of quality improvement, implementation science and continuing professional development as well as healthcare services research for people with childhood onset disability.
