Dr. Brown earned her BS and MS in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1997. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and is an ABPTS board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, as well as a Certified Lymphedema Specialist. Dr. Brown teaches coursework in the musculoskeletal curriculum and in the management of lymphedema. She focuses on the development of clinical reasoning and reflective practice with her students by fostering a collaborative learning environment. Dr. Brown is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Interest Areas
Dr. Brown's research interests include motor learning in orthopedic patients and the effectiveness of learning strategies and metacognitive processes on student outcomes.
