Noah Blocker-Glynn has led HCD’s implementation of a number of new initiatives, including the Hartt Preparatory Academy, an unprecedented program that immerses high school students in Hartt's first-year college core curriculum. In addition to programmatic enhancements within HCD, Noah has built meaningful relationships with many University offices, helping to establish the division as an important member of the greater University community. He brings a high level of administrative and artistic leadership experience to his work at The Hartt School, promoting business, programmatic, and educational interests while overseeing Hartt Admission and the Community Division.

In addition to his work at Hartt, Noah is the artistic director of Greater New Haven Community Chorus, and has spearheaded a renaissance in that organization’s activity. He is responsible for the commissioning and performance of nearly 30 new works in the choral and orchestral genres. Noah completed his undergraduate degree at Plymouth State University and earned a Master of Music in Choral Conducting here at The Hartt School.
