Dr. Greg Betz is a licensed clinical psychologist who obtained his doctoral and master's degrees from Antioch University New England. He obtained a master’s degree in clinical psychology from University of Hartford and bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut. He completed his APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Southern Illinois University (SIU), where he received specialized training in individual therapy with African-American and LGBTQ+ populations and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Before coming to CAPS in 2019, Dr. Betz worked in multiple college counseling centers, including Eastern CT State University (ECSU), Trinity College, and the University of New Haven. His clinical interests include trauma and sexual assault, men’s issues, work with diverse populations, and mindfulness practice.
