Sara Cerruto

Sara joined The Women’s Advancement Initiative in December 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut and recently earned her Masters of Science in Business Management at the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business. Prior to joining The Women’s Advancement Initiative, Sara worked at the Office of Admission at the University of Hartford where she focused on cultivating relationships with transfer students.

In her primary role as the LEAD Program Manager, she facilitates bi-weekly leadership sessions for more than 100 undergraduate female students. During these sessions, students develop pragmatic life skills, receive resiliency coaching, network with community professionals, engage in community service projects, and acquire the tools needed to navigate the journey into and through college.
