B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and African & African American Studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland; M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut
Lisa M. Coté has called numerous states home throughout her life, including Massachusetts, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Connecticut. Lisa attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where she received a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and African & African American Studies. From there, Lisa went on to receive her M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut. Since then, Lisa has worked in Community Service and Student Activities at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and the University of Connecticut, and served as a Resident Director at the University of Hartford for a year. Lisa now serves as the Associate Director of Community Service and Student Activities at the University of Hartford. This role will allow her to continue to engage with the UHart community and have meaningful interactions with students, staff, and faculty, as well as develop new relationships with the local community.
