Tricia Prokop Receives Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award

Tricia Prokop has received the University of Hartford’s 2014 Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award for Part-Time Faculty. The award recognizes part-time faculty for their outstanding contributions to teaching and learning.

Prokop has taught in the University’s College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions since 2010, working with students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics programs.

She’s taught 11 different courses at the University, with a general focus on kinesiology, biomechanics, orthopedic pathology, and musculoskeletal dysfunction.

Her clinical practice as a physical therapist at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center has emphasized pediatric sports medicine. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education from the University of St. Augustine.
