David Cullen

David attended The Hartt School from 1977-1981, where he earned his Bachelor of Music in classical guitar performance. David is a Grammy Award Winner for best Pop Instrumental Recording. He performs in a wide range of styles including classical, jazz, and world music.

David has performed with artists Will Ackerman, Samite, Michael Manning, and Victor Wooten. He has also played with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Jaco Big Band.

David has release 10 albums for the acoustic guitar label Solid Air Records. He has performed throughout North America for Classical Guitar Societies, Jazz Festivals, and Performing Arts Series.

David is presently teaching Jazz and Classical guitar at Kutztown University, Albright College, and West Chester University. He is an Artist-In-Residence at Elizabethtown College.

Frank Vilardi

Music 1974

Frank grew up in Long Island. He became inspired to play to drums after watching The Beatles appear on the Ed Sullivan Show. Frank began playing in his school’s music program, where he was recognized for his exceptional ability. Frank moved on to studying privately with Radio City Hall’s own drummer and percussionist Thomas Hatch.

Frank then attended The Hartt School where he had the opportunity to study with the renowned Al Lepak. Frank was the first Hartt percussion student to play drum set, which he performed Chick Corea’s “Spain” with a quartet.

During the 80’s, Frank began doing any and every gig he could get. In 1987, Frank joined the band ‘Grace Pool’. While making the second album with the band, Frank was asked to audition for Suzanne Vega which was his first major band gig. He spent four years touring and recording with Vega.

Frank has also had the pleasure of performing with artists such as Jewel, Celine Dion, Rosanne Cash, Shawn Colvin, Rod Stewart, Carly Simon, Rosie O’ Donnell, Jim Carroll, Peter Frampton, Phoebe Snow, Mark Cohn, Billy Vera, Peter Allen, Bobby McFerrin, Howard Stern, and Stephan Seagal.

From 2001-2006 Frank also toured with Donny Osmond’s band.

Currently Frank is touring with The Bacon Brothers, and doing sessions from his New York home.
