Noah Blocker-Glynn has worked for The Hartt School Community Division (HCD) since August 2008.  During this time, Noah has held a variety of important positions, including his recent post as Interim Director and Budget and Operations Manager.  Noah has been instrumental in achieving the division’s recent fiscal turnaround and is responsible for implementing many business and operational safeguards.  In addition, Noah has built meaningful relationships with many University offices, helping to establish the division as an important member of the greater University community.  He brings a high level of administrative and artistic leadership experience to his work at The Hartt School, promoting business, programmatic and educational interests.  In addition to his work at Hartt, Noah is the Artistic Director of Greater New Haven Community Chorus and is responsible for a renaissance in the organizations activity.  He has served as Conductor of the Ninth State Youth Dance Theater and Orchestra, as well as the Sgt. Katherine E. Brunelle Memorial Concert Orchestra in New Hampshire, bringing orchestral music to the rural setting, including world premiere performances of compositions and collaborations with award-winning soloists.  He is responsible for the commissioning and performance of over 25 new works in the choral and orchestral genres.  Noah completed his undergraduate degree at Plymouth State University (NH) and graduate work at The Hartt School in Choral Conducting.
