Requirements for the Concentration in Environmental Studies

Required Course

  • SCB 210 Environmental Science

Any four courses from the following:

  • ENG 240 Environmental Literature
  • PHB 120 Ethics
  • SYB 115 Studies in Social Problems
  • SYB 230 Sociological Perspectives on the Connecticut River
  • GVB 210 Urban Politics
  • ANB 110 Cultural Anthropology
  • BYB 290 Special Topics in Biology

Eligibility

Any student in good standing may enroll in the Environmental Studies concentration. Students must achieve a 2.00 overall grade point average and a 2.00 grade point average for the five courses in the concentration for degree designation.
