Each year, the University of Hartford proudly presents Outstanding Staff Member Awards to staff members who consistently demonstrate dedication and commitment to assistance, support, and encouragement in their interactions with students, parents, faculty, other staff, friends of the University and the public. These staff members excel in being team players and inspire those around them to approach their work with positive energy and enthusiasm. This mindset enhances the reputation and success of our University.
Any regular full-time staff member who has completed one year of service is eligible for nomination.
Note: Department heads, deans and University officers are not eligible for consideration.
Anyone may recommend an eligible staff member for this award by completing the Submission Form.
Completed nomination forms must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday June 2, 2017.
A maximum of five awards will be presented at the Fall Faculty/Staff Kick-Off.
Supervisors will be notified prior to the Fall Faculty/Staff Kick-Off if a member of their staff has been selected to receive an Outstanding Staff Member Award and are expected to ensure that the award recipient can attend the event for this important formal recognition.
