Students will familiarize themselves with the Italian Renaissance through lectures, readings, class discussions, documentaries and educational videos. Tour guides and art historians will offer presentations and illustrations while traveling through Italy.
On this program, students will visit Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Rome, the Vatican, and Tivoli. The program cost is $2500* and includes housing, some meals, museum entrance fees, guided tours, and in-country transportation. Students are responsible for the flight, meals that are not included, and personal expenses, and will also be charged 50% tuition for the 3 credit course.
Students can receive credit for ITA 110, ITA 111, ITA 484 and/or AUCA, AUCC, or AUCW 130.

*All listed fees are subject to change and cannot be guaranteed until 15 deposits have been received. The University reserves the right to cancel the program if the required number of deposits have not been received by the deadline. In the event a program is cancelled, all deposits will be refunded to the student account. Scholarships are available; deadline to apply is November 15th. Applications and a program deposit of $1,000 are DUE by October 1st (deadline extended!) and full payment is DUE November 1st.
