Harrison Accepts Lifetime Achievement Award
University of Hartford President Walter Harrison accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hartford Business Journal at an awards breakfast in downtown Hartford’s historic Bond Ballroom on Wednesday morning.
He and fellow honorees Jeffrey Glazer, CEO of Insurity; Chandler Howard, president and CEO of Liberty Bank; and John Lundgren, board chairman of Stanley Black & Decker, later participated in a 30-minute panel discussion that offered great insight into the leaders’ personal and business lives and philosophies.
The Lifetime Achievement Awards recognize business leaders who are making a positive impact on future generations through their community outreach activities. They teach others by example and provide the leadership and guidance that will create Hartford's future business leaders.
