Greek Life Recruitment Application

Here at U-Hart, Panhellenic Recruitment is the structured process by which undergraduate women become members of Panhellenic organizations. Formal recruitment gives each woman the opportunity to meet members of each sorority on campus and find a home using a mutual selection process over 3 days of events. The formal recruitment session will begin on January 14th and end on the 17th. By sending your information into the Vice President of Recruitment you are agreeing to move in early on January 14th and must comply with recruitment rules, panhellenic's bylaws and all university policies. You are also agreeing to have your grades checked. You must have a 2.5 GPA and 12 credits to participate in formal recruitment. Once you have submitted this form you will receive updates about formal spring recruitment via email. Please also fill out this form!

Academic record release: I understand that to apply for recruitment I must be a regularly enrolled full-time student in good standing with the University of Hartford. I must have obtained a 2.50 or better cumulative GPA and I must have completed 12 college credits. I authorize the University of Hartford's Greek Life Office to verify my academic eligibility and can share that information with the chapters participating in recruitment, along with the national offices of each member of the National Panhellenic Conference, the Interfraternal Council, the Inter-Greek Council, and their advisers. I also authorize the Greek Life Office to check and verify my judicial record, if any, with the Student Conduct Office, Residential Life, and the Department of Public Safety.
