Register Today for Your Faculty and Staff 2019-2020 Parking Permits

August 06, 2019
Submitted By: Ann Smith
Faculty and staff parking permits for the 2019-2020 academic year are now available online. The fee for faculty and staff remains $25. Below is information about a few changes to the system.

The Department of Public Safety has installed a new parking software system and some faculty and staff permits will no longer require a hangtag.  Employees with a current hangtag that says “Faculty/Staff” on the front will not be issued a new hangtag.

Those who have hangtags that say Athletics, Emeriti, Facilities, GSU Lot, H Lot, Health Services, Official, Residential Life, and those that indicate a specific assigned parking location will still need hangtags and must pick up a hangtag at Public Safety after requesting and paying online.

Adjunct faculty members will continue to not have hangtags but will continue to be required to register their vehicle online.

The new website is very user friendly and easy to use. The self-service site uses the University single sign-on. Your user name is your email name without the @hartford.edu and the password is your current email password.

The new parking system will be used to issue citations instead of paper citations being left on the vehicle.  Faculty and staff will be able to view citations, appeal citations, order permits, modify their vehicle, and pay fees online.

When registering, please verify your vehicle information before submitting it online.  Public Safety will not be able to identify the vehicle if the incorrect information is entered.

All faculty and staff must purchase their permit and adjuncts must register their vehicle online by August 31.
