Katherine Deacon Named Director of Student Financial Aid

Pleased to announce that Katherine Deacon has been promoted to the role of Director of Student Financial Aid. Katherine joined the University of Hartford in 2012, as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid, and was subsequently promoted to Associate Director in 2015. During her seven year tenure, Katherine has prioritized customer service, operational efficiency, and ensuring that the Office of Student Financial Aid is a cohesive part of the overall student experience. 

In addition to managing office operations and overseeing compliance with federal regulations, Katherine played a lead role in the creation and execution of two very successful Scholarship Competitions.

Katherine earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Quinnipiac and her MBA from the University of Hartford's Barney School of Business.
