Tuition Exchange Deadline Is Oct. 1

The University of Hartford is a member of The Tuition Exchange, Inc.(TE), a national organization that administers tuition scholarship opportunities for dependent children of employees from member colleges and universities. Faculty and staff with a minimum of 5 years of full time service can apply to have an eligible dependent considered for tuition exchange for the 2021–22 academic year. A listing of participating institutions is available at tuitionexchange.org

Faculty/Staff seeking RENEWAL of an eligible dependent’s certification should  download, complete and submit the PDF Preliminary Application to Shane Ciccarelli, Associate Dean of Admission, no later than Oct. 1, 2020.

Faculty/Staff applying for a NEW ELIGIBLE DEPENDENT for Tuition Exchange must apply by October 1st and are strongly encouraged to use the new “EZ Application Process at https://telo.tuitionexchange.org/apply.cfm (Please take time to read the instructions prior to completing the application.)   While not preferredyou may choose to complete and submit the PDF Preliminary Application as an alternative.

It is important to note that the awarding or renewal of a TE scholarship is not guaranteed;  scholarships are contingent upon the number available and each college or university has its own renewal and awarding criteria.

Applications received after October 1, 2020 will not receive priority consideration and may not be eligible. Please click the link at the end of this article (under "Documents") to download and review the Tuition Exchange Policy.
