Free Flu Vaccine for Faculty and Staff

Flu season is quickly approaching and the CDC states that getting a flu shot is even more important this year.  In an effort to help protect employees from the seasonal flu, Human Resources Development is pleased to announce that any regular full-time or part-time faculty or staff member, regardless of whether or not you are enrolled in the University of Hartford’s group medical insurance, will be offered a complimentary (seasonal) flu vaccine.  Please see details below:

CVS Flu Shot Clinic

Date: Tuesday, Sept. 29

The vaccine will be offered only to those employees (spouses are not eligible) that register on a first come, first served basis. 

In order to keep everyone’s safety and social distancing requirements in mind, please note the following guidelines on the day of your appointment:

• You must have a green check mark registered on the LiveSafe app to attend your appointment
• You will be REQUIRED to wear a mask at all times
• There will be no waiting area in order to adhere to appropriate distancing requirements
• Please do not show up for your appointment early
• There will be no exceptions for missed and/or late appointments
