Forward Scholarship Opportunity for Students

As we near graduation, many of you are likely weighing the options of what the next steps in your journey may be. We hope that you explore the opportunity to enroll in a graduate program at UHart, especially now with the extension of our Forward Scholarship. The scholarship will provide up to half graduate tuition to all qualifying UHart grads who wish to pursue a graduate degree in the following master’s programs at the University of Hartford:

• Barney School of Business: business administration, business analytics, accounting and taxation, and management, as well as dual degrees and accounting or taxation certificates
• College of Arts and Sciences: communication and organizational psychology (on campus; typically fall start program)
• College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions: early childhood education
• College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture: civil, electrical and computer, environmental, and mechanical engineering, and professional certificates

University of Hartford graduates with degree conferrals between January 2020 and September 2021 entering one of the above graduate programs through fall 2021, and who meet the minimum GPA requirements, are considered for the scholarship.

Scholarship recipients will receive the 1/2 tuition scholarship if the Forward Scholarship is the only tuition remission, tuition abatement, or scholarship you receive from the University of Hartford during your graduate studies. Forward Scholarships awarded will automatically renew until the completion of your graduate program of study, as long as you maintain satisfactory academic standing. The Office of Student Financial Aid will complete an official review of your file to determine your eligibility for this award. The Forward Scholarship cannot be combined with any other non-need based award offers.
