North Gate and Mark Twain Drive Entrance Open for Faculty and Staff from 7 to 9 a.m.

In an effort to ease traffic congestion at the main entrance to campus, the Department of Public Safety encourages faculty and staff to use the either the north gate entrance or the Mark Twain Drive entrance during their morning commutes. These additional entrances will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for employees only.

The morning traffic flow will increase significantly as the academic year begins both at UHart and at the University of Hartford Magnet School. Staff and faculty will find that the Mark Twain and North Gate entrances will have minimal wait or congestion.

Please note the following opening date for the Magnet School that will increase traffic flow further between the main entrance and the Magnet School:

Wednesday, Sept. 1: First day of school for Magnet School students.
