Connecticut Dance Alliance Honors Two Hartt Dance Faculty

The Connecticut Dance Alliance is the statewide service organization for the entire Dance industry in Connecticut. They will be holding their annual Distinguished Awards Event, on Sunday, Oct. 3, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., at the University of St. Joseph’s Autorino Center for the Arts in West Hartford and honoring two Hartt School faculty members:

Libby Nye, renowned dancer with the José Limón Company and former  teacher at Hartt Community Dance Divisionwill receive the Distinguished Achievement Award.

Barbara Ally, adjunct professor at The Hartt School Dance Division will receive the "Jill Henderson Award for Special Service to Dance".
