'Haim Avitsur | Hartt Studio D' Concert
Hartt Studio D is pleased to invite you to the launch of our Haim Avitsur | Hartt Studio D collaboration! We are very excited to be presenting the project live on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Lincoln Theater.
The concert will feature the world premieres of six electroacoustic collaborations between Hartt trombone professor Haim Avitsur and students from Studio D, The Hartt School's electronic composition lab. The concert will present works for both fixed-media and live electronics by current students and alumni June Violet Aino '21, Josh Baerwald, Spencer Bambrick, Eliza Gelinas '21, Joe Hayes, and Huining Xue. These works were created in honor of Hartt 100, a celebration of The Hartt School’s 100th anniversary. We hope you will join us for a fun evening and to experience the premieres of six really beautiful new works! The concert is free to attend and open to all members of our UHart Community.
