Fall Helping Hawks Day of Service on Oct. 15
On Friday, October 15, 2021, the Office of Student Engagement and Inclusion, Student Government Association, and Office of Development and Alumni Affairs will host the first-ever Fall Helping Hawks Day of Service. Students, staff, faculty, and alumni are invited and encouraged to participate in this Hawktober day of service. We are partnering with seven non-profit organizations in the Greater Hartford Area to offer meaningful service experiences for our campus community. Transportation will be provided to and from each service site.
Check-in and departure times will be staggered throughout the day in order to accommodate on-campus and community partner schedules, and are listed on the attached document and the linked registration sites below.
Our sites for this semester are listed below by check-in time and linked to each registration site:
9 a.m. – Chrysalis Center
9 a.m. – Riverfront Recapture
10 a.m. – Habitat for Humanity ReStore
11 a.m. – Real Art Ways
11 a.m. – United Way
11:30 a.m. – Shepard Meadows Equestrian Center
Noon – Gifts of Love Farm
