Alcohol and Marijuana Screening Day

Wednesday Nov. 10 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. at GSU south café
What is a ‘screening?’
Free to students. A student completes an in-person eight-question survey questionnaire. (one survey is for alcohol and another for marijuana/other drugs). The results of the questionnaire are privately screened and staff are available to have a brief private conversation with the student regarding the survey results.
What are some examples of ways that this can help YOU?
Are you interested in learning more about your personal substance use?
Has a friend or family member ever been worried about your substance use?
Are you worried about your substance use?
Do you feel like your substance use is higher than other people your age?
Are you using substances but unsure how to handle them in moderation?
This is an evidenced-based strategy used by colleges to address substance use.
