Make Your Move-in Day Appointment

With just a few weeks before the new semester starts, it’s time for students to register for a move-in time slot.

The appointment portal is now open. All students (including transfer students and graduate students) must choose a day and time within their approved move-in block. All move-in times are between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

When students log in to the appointment portal, they will only see the specific move-in dates designated for them. Those who need to arrive after those specific dates may email ResLife@hartford.edu. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow students to arrive before their designated days.

To navigate to the Housing Portal and open the Appointments page, please use the following steps:

1. Log in to your Self-Service account.

2. Click Residential Life and open the StarRez Housing Portal link.

3. Once on the Housing Portal website, click the red button at the top of the page for the Hartford Student SSO log in.

4. Once you log in, it will direct you back to the Home page of the Housing portal.

5. At the top of the page, click the "Appointments" link. This link will bring you to a page to schedule your move-in time.

Students who are part of approved early arrival groups will receive information from their specific group leader or coach.

Students are also able to cancel and change their move-in appointment in the portal and do not need to notify Residential Life of the change.
