University Holidays and Gift Days
As we approach an exciting new academic year, and in an effort to provide all employees with advance notice of University time off, I am pleased to provide the schedule of University Closing Days through Summer 2023. The below includes both standard University holidays as well as additional gifts of time from President Woodward. As always, we hope you take the extended breaks to enjoy time with friends and family, as well as rejuvenate and recharge.
2022
September: Monday, 9/5/22 (Labor Day)
November: Monday – Friday, 11/21/22 – 11/25/22
December: Friday, 12/23 – Monday, January 2 (Winter Break)
2023
January: Monday, 1/16/23 (MLK Day)
May: Friday, 5/26/23, Monday, 5/29/23 (Memorial Day)
June: Monday, 6/19/23 (Juneteenth)
July: Monday, 7/3/23, Tuesday, 7/4/23 (4th of July)
Please note, payroll processing deadlines may change due to these extended holidays. All supervisors should ensure they adhere to established and/or modified payroll deadlines.
