Notice for TIAA Participants
Due to the CARES Act and the SECURE Act, the University’s TIAA plans have been modified to ensure compliance with these acts. The modification documents will be part of the TIAA Plan Documents, however below are the Amendments for participants records.
The CARES Act covered the additional distributions that were available during Covid, along with the suspension of Required Minimum Distributions (RMD’s) for that year.
The SECURE Act increased the RMD age.
