Erik Lindblad of ITS is Leaving UHart

It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Erik Lindblad, one of our Media Technology Specialists, is leaving the University of Hartford. His last day is today, Nov. 30. 

Erik came to us in early 2020, bright-eyed and eager to learn the inner workings of UHart. However, COVID-19 had other plans. He was forced to take on the unenviable task of understanding how our campus functions while not being able to be here, which was no easy feat.

Since then, he has helped usher in new technology in classrooms and continued to support events campus-wide that needed a technological eye. His friendly demeanor, easy-going attitude, and incredible customer service will be sorely missed.

Taking on a role at UConn, Erik is excited about some new challenges, some of which include an 1817% increase in his commute, having to explain to a whole new set of people why he “can’t eat that,” and continued delusion that Coldplay is half as good today as they were a decade ago.
