Touring Tourism "Meet the Artist" Opening Reception

University of Hartford Harrison Libraries Upper Level

Friday, Dec. 2, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Exhibition Description:

“Touring Tourism” is a color film photography exhibition that explores the artist’s dual role as a tourist and as a study abroad student. She utilizes her background as a German American and as a Sociology Major to guide her perspective.

Bainbridge explores the subject by capturing this body of work through analog processes during her Summer 2022 study abroad experience in Barcelona, Spain; Rome, Italy; and Prague, Czechia.

Special thanks to the Herb Aschermann & Sal Lopes Fund, the Walter Harrison Emeriti Association Scholarship, and the Women’s Advancement Initiative LEAD Stipend for making this exhibition possible.

Note: Off-campus visitors must acquire and display a free visitor parking pass to attend the event. For more information, contact: bainbridg@hartford.edu
