Traffic Reminders From Public Safety

The University’s Department of Public Safety would like to remind everyone that our campus is primarily pedestrian and traffic rules must be followed, no matter the time of day or night.

Please be advised that the department will be stepping up enforcement details on all shifts to educate the community on how important this is for the safety of the University’s campus. Public Safety receives many concerns from the community about vehicular traffic and must ensure they are addressed.

Drivers must obey the campus speed limit of 15mph, and be very cautious and aware of any walkers and runners in the area, as well as crosswalks in the roadway. Please also remember that with the time change, it is now darker earlier in the day, and it may, at times, be hard to see pedestrians.
