UIS Faculty Fellows Selected

The University Interdisciplinary Studies program is thrilled to name its inaugural selections for the UIS Faculty Fellows program. The selected faculty members are:

Professor Nels Highberg, Department of English and Modern Languages

Professor Sundeep Muppidi, School of Communication

Assistant Professor Rachel Walker, Department of History and Philosophy

These faculty members will teach a reduced load in the spring of 2023 while working as a small cohort to learn more about social belonging interventions. They will then integrate social belonging practices into their courses in the fall of 2023. Join us in congratulating professors Highberg, Muppidi, and Walker on this achievement!
