Writer Marcelle Soviero to Read on Campus

The reading will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 12:45 p.m., in the Greenberg Center, in the Harry Jack Gray Center. 

Marcelle Soviero is a writer, teacher, editor, and publisher. Her essays, articles, and poetry have been published in numerous outlets including the New York Times, National Public Radio, Popular Science, and Salon. She is the author of An Iridescent Life and co-editor of This is Childhood: Essays on Raising Children ages 1-10.

Marcelle is the former Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Brain Child, an award-winning literary magazine founded in 2000. Brain Child was sold to Creative Nonfiction in 2020. She is the creative director of Marcelle Ink LLC--a boutique coaching teaching company for writers and creatives.

The reading will be followed by a Q&A.  The event is free and open to the public.
