Open Educational Resources "Petting Zoo"

January 27, 2023
Submitted By: OER Committee

Come join us for the Open Educational Resources (OER) “Petting Zoo,” on Monday, March 27, in the Mortensen Library!

Register now for this OER showcase event, and we’ll provide you with a relevant example of an OER textbook that could freely replace your current course textbook(s). You can “pet” your OER in electronic or hardcopy format. Then join us for refreshments and to hear a brief OER presentation. A presentation will be given each hour on the hour.

The event will begin at 12:45 p.m., and run until 5 p.m., in the Woods Classroom (L213). While registration is required if you would like an OER example selected and available for you at the event, any faculty and staff are welcome to see the short presentation, have an informal discussion, browse the OER examples and options, and of course…for refreshments.

At this time, if you register and request a hardcopy version of your OER, please note that we may not be able to obtain that version in time for the event. We will still provide a digital example at the event and get the hard copy to you as soon as it arrives.
