College of Arts & Sciences

Main Content

A hands-on curriculum that helps you succeed.

In the College of Arts and Sciences, you develop the critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills you need to pursue a successful career.

Here, you don’t just memorize theories—you collaborate, integrate, and represent your point of view thoughtfully. Classes are small, which means you’ll receive personal attention and support from faculty. You get hands-on experience through internships, research with faculty, and study abroad opportunities. Our interdisciplinary offerings enable you to engage with the world from multiple perspectives.

When you graduate, you will be able to address problems and offer viable solutions, because you will have spent the last four years doing just that.

Areas of Study

The College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) offers 25 undergraduate majors, 29 minors, seven graduate programs, and multiple interdisciplinary offerings, making it the largest of the seven schools and colleges.

A&S offers academic advising to all students, an Honors Program, and pre-professional advising for students interested in pursuing careers in law, medicine, and pharmacy.
