Hillyer College provides the first two years of the bachelor's degree at the University of Hartford. Although all Hillyer students who have completed the requirements receive an associate's degree at the end of those two years, our selection criteria focuses on students who are interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree and more.
Hillyer's rich and challenging curriculum streamlines student transition to the bachelor's degree program. Students may select various academic concentrations, such as education or environmental studies. This option enables students to delve deeper into particular subject areas in disciplines or multidisciplinary studies in the search for potential majors at the bachelor's degree level.
Hillyer College is the best of both worlds: a small college within a larger university setting. Students have access to all that a large university has to offer as well as the small classes, taught by a dedicated and highly recognized faculty, that enable students to find academic and personal success.
Our alumni tell us that Hillyer College is a transformational experience.
Starting in their first year, Hillyer students may choose to engage in focused study in areas such as global studies, business studies, environmental studies, and education studies. More Information
