For its next Progressive Movie Night program, WWUH Radio will be holding the New England premier of the documentary, "Under The Eightball," on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. The screenibng, which is free and open to the public, will take place in Wilde Auditorium, in the Harry Jack Gray Center at the University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford
The film delves into the history and current state of biological ware fare along with the possibility of the U.S. government conducting testing on unsuspecting citizens. Directors Timothy Grey and Breanne Russell examine a particular residential area in which many of its residents become ill with various auto-immune diseases. The question at hand is, is this phenomenon a coincidence or government conspiracy?
Grey and Russell, who also produced the film, will be at the screening. After the showing, they will discuss the issues raised in the film. One can also visit the film’s official website,
www.undertheeightball.com.
WWUH Radio’s Progressive Movie Night started in 2007 as a way to promote the viewer ship of independent documentaries. According to Mike DeRosa, WWUH community affairs director, this program seeks to present films that “you’re not supposed to see or hear about.”
