Engineers, technologists, and architects make a tremendous difference in people’s lives by solving many of the world’s most difficult and important problems. In our college we work on designing secure and efficient transportation, monitoring health conditions wirelessly during everyday activities, addressing clean water supplies in developing countries, and creating concert halls that allow every note to be heard. Our architects create living spaces that blend bold dramatic forms with real building functions, and our engineers and technologists tackle how to affordably heat and cool those spaces with minimal impact on the environment.
Here in CETA our mission is to nurture students who will solve those problems and in doing so affect tomorrow’s technologies and shape the environment in which we live. We study principles and conduct research to make a real difference. We foster a caring, creative, connected environment that emphasizes interdisciplinary learning and undergraduate research; even our first-year students can become involved in projects sponsored by industry and government agencies. And all of our endeavors are about helping people worldwide to live better, healthier lives.
Welcome to the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture.
