University High School of Science and Engineering
A public high school, utilizing an early college model, with a challenging curriculum emphasizing science, math, engineering, and technology. When the high school moves to its permanent quarters on the east side of campus in 2006, it will serve 400 students, 70 percent from Hartford and the remainder from surrounding communities. The school currently operates on the Asylum Avenue campus.
