Learning Plus Final Exam Information

The following is information from Learning Plus regarding final exam accommodations for eligible students. Learning Plus offers academic support services to University of Hartford students who submit documentation that supports the diagnosis of a specific learning disability and/or attention deficit disorder. Students who are eligible may take tests at Learning Plus with various accommodations based on the documentation that they submit.
Please Note: During finals week, Learning Plus hours of operation do NOT mirror the university’s standard exam hours. For information about the standard exam dates/times, please refer to pages 12 and 13 in the University of Hartford Bulletin: Fall 2005 Schedule of Classes.

In order to qualify for final exam accommodations, students:
- must have appropriate documentation on file at Learning Plus.
- must have submitted Letters of Disclosure to their professors.
- Morning exams will be administered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on
Wednesday, Dec. 14; Thursday, Dec. 15; Friday, Dec. 16; Monday, Dec. 19; and Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Students whose scheduled exams begin at 8 a.m. or 11 a.m. will take exams with accommodations at Learning Plus beginning at 9 a.m. Students will NOT be permitted to begin an exam at Learning Plus after 9 a.m. Students who are eligible for 1.5x extended time must complete their exams by noon. Students who are eligible for 2x extended time must complete their exams by 1 p.m. - Afternoon exams will be administered from 2 to 6 p.m. on
Wednesday, Dec. 14; Thursday, Dec. 15; Friday, Dec.16; Monday, Dec. 19; and Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Students whose scheduled exams begin at 2 p.m. will take exams with accommodations at Learning Plus beginning at 2 p.m. Students will NOT be permitted to begin an exam at Learning Plus after 2 p.m. Students who are eligible for 1.5x extended time must complete their exams by 5 p.m. Students who are eligible for 2x extended time must complete their exams by 6 p.m. - Saturday exams, on Dec. 17, will be administered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Students will NOT be permitted to begin an exam at Learning Plus after 10 a.m. Students who are eligible for 1.5x extended time must complete their exams by 1 p.m. Students who are eligible for 2x extended time must complete their exams by 2 p.m. - Late afternoon and evening exams will NOT be administered at Learning Plus. Students and faculty should plan accordingly. Students whose scheduled exams begin late in the afternoon or evening will need to make their own arrangements for accommodations with their professors.
