Gutiérrez Wins Guggenheim Grant for 2011-12

Edward A. Gutiérrez, adjunct professor of history at Hillyer College, has been awarded a Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation Research Grant for 2011-12. The grant was given in support of his forthcoming book, Sherman Was Right: The Experience of AEF Soldiers in the Great War.
Gutiérrez's book is based on his 2008 dissertation from The Ohio State University. He received his associate's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Hartford.
