Peter Diffley, the University’s dean of graduate studies and co-author of Paying for Graduate School Without Going Broke, was quoted in the “Education Life blog of The New York Times on Friday, July 22. The Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies’ donation of 100 copies of an Arabic language book on Nazareth, edited by Hazza Abu Rabia, a faculty member at the Greenberg Center, was noted in the Thursday, July 21, edition of West Hartford Life.com. Hartford Art School alum Chris Speakman (’95), owner and operator of Sports Propaganda, and creator of Major League Baseball’s official 2011 All-Star Weekend poster, was the subject of a feature profile story in the Thursday, July 21, edition of the Somerville News. The story also includes an interview with another Hartt School alum Rebecca Correia, who became a friend of Colon’s during classes together at The Hartt School.
