Tickets are still available for the 2006 Hot Stove Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, Jan. 21, featuring former New York Mets general manager and current ESPN analyst Steve Phillips.

The annual event, which helps support the University of Hartford baseball program, will be held at Gengras Student Union. It will begin with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

The night will also feature a presentation by Phillips, a panel discussion, and a live auction featuring autographed jerseys (with certificate of authenticity) from Don Mattingly, Jim Rice, Alex Rodriguez, Tom Seaver, and Jason Varitek.

Phillips is a regular on ESPN's Baseball Tonight and a columnist for ESPN Insider on ESPN.com. "The University of Hartford baseball program and I are very excited to have Steve Phillips as our marquee speaker for this year's Hot Stove Dinner," said Head Baseball Coach Jeff Calcaterra. "Mr. Phillips brings a wealth of baseball knowledge as well as an enthusiastic and entertaining style."

Tickets are $75 per person. To order tickets, contact Jim Keener, associate director of athletics, at 860.768.5063 or jkeener@hartford.edu.
