Hartt's Nina Watt Works With José Limón Dance Company
Posted 9/8/2011
Nina Watt, assistant professor of dance at The Hartt School, spent part of her summer working with the José Limón Dance Company in preparation for the company's upcoming tour to Brazil.
She was invited by Artistic Director Carla Maxwell to do some individual coaching of soloists, particularly those in classic roles in which she performed. Watt served as a guest director for José Limón's master work There Is a Time, which will be presented by Hartt's Dance Division this year under her direction.
