Grantham Presents Research, Elected Vice Chair at Conference
Susan Grantham, associate professor in the School of Communication, A&S, presented "Strategize – Implement – Measure – Repeat: Are We Evaluating Our Way to PR Accountability?" at the annual Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) conference. The paper was coauthored with Edward Vieira, associate professor at Simmons College in Boston, and sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America research foundation.
Grantham was elected the vice chair of the Public Relations Division (PRD) within AEJMC. The PRD is the largest organization of public relations educators in the world, with 500+ members within the United States and abroad. It is the second largest division within AEJMC. As the vice chair, Grantham will develop the PRD programming for the 2012 conference, which will take place in Chicago next August when the association celebrates its 100th anniversary.
