David E. Desplaces, assistant professor of management at the Barney School of Business, presented a paper titled "A Service-Learning Approach to Inner City Economic Development: The Case of the Upper Albany Micro Business Incubator," at the 2006 Annual Conference of the United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship in Tucson, Ariz.

The paper was co-authored with Barney faculty members Margery Steinberg, associate professor of marketing, and Susan Coleman, professor of finance.
