Hartt's Joshua Russell Presents Research

Joshua A. Russell, assistant professor of music education, The Hartt School, presented research at the Society for Music Teacher Education Symposium at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro on Sept. 16, 2011.
His paper, "Music Teachers Taking Action in their Own Identity Development," focused on the actions teachers could take and relationships teachers could foster to enhance their musical as well as teacher occupational identities, leading to greater commitment and enjoyment of the music educator role.
