Beckford Invited to Read at 'Solstice in Autumn' at Pine Manor College

Kerry Beckford, HCW '85, A&S '88, '98, instructor in the Rhetoric and Professional Writing program, was one of four invited readers at "Solstice in Autumn: Pine Manor College's MFA Program Celebratory Reading." The reading was part of the inaugural celebration events for new PMC President Dr. Alane K. Street.

Beckford joined Solstice faculty Helen Elaine Lee, Kathleen Aguero, and David Yoo in the reading on Oct. 13.

Beckford received her MFA in creative nonfiction from the Solstice MFA program in 2010. Her work has been published in Devotion Magazine, Northeast Magazine, The Hog River Journal, and the Hartford Courant. She is co-author, along with Don Jones, of the forthcoming textbook Writing Selves/Reading Cultures.
